And if you go chasing rabbits and you think you're going to fall, tell 'em a Hookah smokin' caterpillar is giving you the call...

Ok, so for those of you who don't know...and that should be plenty of you seeing as how I have told only a handful of people...I am working on comics project right now centering around Alice in Wonderland because well, to tell the truth, why not? I've read the book pretty much every year since I was first given a very old copy in '96 (making me about 9 years old at the time). Needless to say I still have the book, I still read it every year, and I might need a new copy because it's falling apart now. So anyway I am going to be adding the drawings that I have as I ink them and toy with them. None of them are really set in stone yet except for my wonderful Alice character who I am quite entranced with. I spent several hours trying to draw her and each time she began to look more and more like Judy Garland's Dorothy which perturbed me. All of a sudden I drew her eye on notes I was taking for class and the drawing to the immediate right was what was born. I hope you get a chance to get to gander at some of my other pictures and please leave comments and suggestions, Lord knows I need all the help I can get!

Humpty Dumpty and Alice, still figuring out how to turn the images, I imagine it might have something to do with using a scanner that is defunct and probably as old as computers are.

Same thing, this is the King and his son from the "Jabberwocky"...keep in mind that Alice never quite "got" the poem so I am adding my own connotations to the characters.

Alice going through the Looking Glass...it's possible I might have borrowed the looking glass from other influences...
